Maciej Woz is a placeholder biography for a fictional painter. He works slowly, mostly in oils, and returns each year to the same few subjects: hedgerows, dim interiors, and the particular grey of northern afternoons. He lives and works at the edge of a small town, in a studio that is too cold in winter and exactly right in May.
